Came across this photo in deviantArt. This is pure awesomeness both the photography skill and the model. She should be doing cosplay. Genius. Somehow I totally love this shot.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li
My Rating
Street Fighters: The Legend of Chun-Li practically destroys whatever reputation the previous Street Fighter has had so far. If only I had an image for half-star I'd give it a half-star. This movie definitely stands a high chance of being the worst movie of 2009. Especially for those who have been following Street Fighters comic or the games. Please la.. the earlier Chun-Li where got know how to Hadoken one? zzzZZZ Definitely hopeless. Luckily we watched it in Johor so didn't waste that much $$.
Dragonball Evolution
My Rating
An ultimate disappointment. Never intended to watch this movie at all but for some inevitable reason I ended up watching it. What a total waste of money. Dragonball Evolution is definitely created just to compete with Street Fighter for the title. So may the worst movie win.

This is probably the most expensive movie outing I've had so far. Almost 100 bucks spent =_=. Due to some misunderstanding we ended having our lunch @ a Belgium Restaurant before the movie which cost me roughly S$20+ and dinner @ a Swiss Restaurant which cost another S$40+. T.T Well all in all it was a good day..... duh.
The best thing about Wolverine's Origin gotta be its cinematography. It's so good that it's worth watching in cinema just for that aspect. Another plus point would be the casts of the movie. The casts are very well chosen especially Victor. He resemble the Marvel character so perfectly. Two thumbs up for that. Lastly, I definitely think that it's living up to the X-Men's reputation.

Recently I just had time to watch this anime. It was recommended by a friend. I'd give this anime credit for 1 thing and that is shattering my expectation. It's nothing about what I thought it was about. That is good of course otherwise it will be a boring ride. Seirei no Moribito has less of battles and more of drama so if you're looking non-stop spear action, you may find yourself stumbling on the wrong title. Although the notion of having a female spear wander as the main character give the impression of endless spear battles fearsome rivals, it is not the case. It's not a focus that Seirei no Moribito is trying to capture.

Never intended to watch this movie at all. I always thought these types of movie are more for fans than for general viewers. But due to some twisted fate I ended up watching it anyway. I suddenly received some privilege card for free ice cream @ Swesen's on weekday then a friend of mine has a privilege card for movie tickets on weekday and we happened to be free on a particular weekday. So yeah we obviously decided to go for a meal and a movie. It so happens that there is no other choice of movie for us beside this. I mean there are but we didn't think the rest was worth watching in cinema. Oh well that's how thing turned out.
After the movie, I gotta say I'm impressed. It's a very good movie. And you can trust me because I'm not one of them (if you know who I am talking about) -- the Trekkies. You don't need to have followed the series or be a fan to watch movie though you'd probably enjoy it more if you're one. I gotta say that the cinematography and graphic design of the space and the spaceship are much better than Star War -- Revenge of the Sith. All in all, this is definitely a movie you may not wanna to miss in Cinema.

Finally... I watch it! So many times, I was about to watch it and I ended up watching sth else instead. Eventhough it's quite highly rated in IMDB, but the notion of relationship between a man and a dog doesn't entice me at all. On top of that, the movie is 2 hrs long. Everytime I was about to open the file, I was like "nah, it's gonna boring. I think I'll pass. Keep it for next time". Aaand.. finally the next time is here.
Well, overall, the movie is good. Definitely 2hr worth spent. It doesn't just show how a relationship between a man and the dog evolves throughout the movie but also many other aspects of life that an individual may experience. It addressed many different concept of life in one's adulthood such as career, family, mariage and stuff. Again if you're not the type of person who'd look for life reality in a movie, you'd be cursing me for recommending this crap.
Lastly, the cutest moment in the movie for me would be when Collen gave away her favorite soft toy to Marley and said to him, "You could take Lammy but don't chew her other ear off." LOL
